Hailing from Defiance, Ohio, Brock Middleton and The Outlaws are quickly making a name for themselves as one of the Midwest’s most exciting rising country acts. Formed just two and a half years ago from a simple Facebook post by Frontman Brock Middleton calling for driven, talented musicians ready to “go all the way,” the band has already turned that vision into reality with remarkable momentum.
The first to answer the call was bassist Israel Daniels of Paulding, Ohio, a seasoned performer with a background touring in multiple bluegrass bands. His musicianship and rock-solid foundation helped shape the band’s early sound. Soon after, drummer Mike Weaver of Archbold, Ohio joined the lineup, bringing with him a unique musical résumé that includes time in The Ohio State marching band and touring experience with polka groups. His groove, versatility, and deep love for country music provide the heartbeat that ties everything together.
After navigating a few lineup changes, the final piece fell into place with lead guitarist David Bussing of Bryan, Ohio. An accomplished solo artist in his own right, Bussing delivers electrifying solos and a musical intensity that gives the band its signature edge and unmistakable sound.
At the front of it all is Brock Middleton, a lifelong musician with deep roots in music. Raised in a family of performers—including a grandfather who was a recording gospel artist—Brock’s passion was evident from an early age. After touring in multiple bands and fronting a semi-successful heavy metal act, he returned to his true calling in country music, bringing raw energy, authenticity, and powerful vocals to the stage.
In a short time, the band has accomplished what many spend years chasing. They’ve worked with multiple Grammy Award-winning professionals, headlined major regional shows, and even received offers to open for national acts like Travis Tritt. Fresh off their Nashville debut, their latest single, “Driving Them Roads,” is gaining traction on Spotify and TikTok, building new fans daily.
With songwriting by Nashville legends Kyle Knoblock and Arlis Albritton, Alongside Brock Middleton the band has already released original material and has a catalog of more songs ready to go. Plans are in motion to return to Nashville for additional recording later this year, as they continue to refine and expand their sound.
Known for delivering high-energy performances, Brock Middleton and The Outlaws bring the spirit of Nashville straight to every stage they step on. Their shows combine compelling original songs with crowd-favorite covers, all driven by a relentless passion for music and connection with their audience.
With plans to expand their lineup and an unwavering work ethic, this is a band that isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Brock Middleton and The Outlaws are making bold moves and they’re just getting started.
